The Élève Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to empowering individuals in the DFW community by providing styling support and curated clothing. Our mission focuses on addressing local needs, creating opportunities, and inspiring confidence through the transformative impact of fashion and sustainability.
With more than 20 years of experience in fashion retail, startups, and tech, Kathy founded The Élève Initiative to make personalized styling accessible, empowering individuals to build confidence and express themselves. She believes that even small gestures can significantly impact someone's life.
Kathy finds fulfillment in providing resources that encourage personal growth and believes that having the right wardrobe is the final step that helps individuals transition to the next stage of their lives and succeed in whatever they pursue.

A first-generation Asian Vietnamese immigrant, Angela understands the challenges of navigating limited resources and opportunities. With over three decades of expertise in financial management and strategic planning, she combines her financial skills with a genuine commitment to making a difference in the community. Angela's extensive workforce experience drives her mission to promote equity, create opportunities, and give back to the community by fostering meaningful change across various industries.
