At The Élève Initiative, we are honored to recognize Maitry Shah, founder and president of Charities2Love, as an impactful leader in the nonprofit world. Her dedication to bridging the gap between volunteers and charities has transformed community service in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Styling Maitry Shah was an honor, as it celebrated her role as an influential leader by aligning her preference for quiet luxury and minimalism with her inspiring personality.
Maitry Shah’s Journey: From Passion to Purpose
With over 25 years of volunteer experience, Maitry Shah’s journey began as an avid volunteer and evolved into becoming a volunteer coordinator. Seeing the challenges nonprofits faced in connecting with the right people and resources, she felt compelled to act. In April 2023, she launched Charities2Love, an initiative to bridge these gaps and promote meaningful connections between volunteers and nonprofits. By February 2024, the initiative had grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Maitry’s mission for Charities2Love is rooted in six core focus areas: hunger, homelessness, women and children, seniors, health and wellness, and the environment. Her ability to connect volunteers and nonprofits has inspired countless individuals to engage with their communities. Her efforts culminated in receiving the prestigious Orchid Giving Circle Leadership Grant in October 2024, validating her hard work and dedication.
